Live Streaming With Zoom

Dear Parishioners,

Following the recent necessity to close the church at Carterton I have asked for a live streaming Mass facility to be set up.

As such we will be using a Zoom connection. The log in and password details will be added to the Home Page of St Joseph’s Website 24 hrs before each service, titled:- NEXT STREAMED SERVICE

Initially we will start with one Mass on Sundays at 10:00 am . The first of these will be on Sunday 31st January. More Masses will be added once the system is working well.

So that you are ready for the first service, I have had the team identify a couple of simple guides to using Zoom on any computer, tablet or smart phone device.

If you need any further assistance please initially contact your usual IT support help team as they may already be familiar with Zoom.

For further advise please contact Ed Poole at ed.poole@kymba.co.uk.

In order not to delay the start of Mass it would be ideal if all parishioners who wish to participate should access the link well before the start of the service, so that once it is opened by Fr Andrew we will all join.

Whilst the Mass is in progress please ensure your microphone is on mute. There will be one of the team moderators in the church saying the responses.

When viewing the Mass ensure you set your View to at least “Speaker View” to enlarge the main screen on your device.

After Communion we will be praying the following Spiritual Communion Prayer:-

My Jesus,
I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally,
come spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there
and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen

I Look forward to joining you all in a virtual mass forum over the next few weeks

Father Andrew
